In March 2021, the singer and entertainer Jürgen Drews, known beyond Germany’s borders, as patron, virtually honored the winners of the TOP 100 Acousticians 2021/2022 competition and presented the certificates to the beaming award recipients in a video clip featured on the awarded company’s website.

This year, two Roman Wagner locations were among this distinguished group: once again Roman Wagner Hörgeräte GmbH in Schweich and Roman Wagner Hörgeräte GmbH in Saarburg. Managing directors Kai Glinke (Schweich location) and Rouven Krell (Saarburg location) are justifiably proud of this achievement.

The independent jury from science and marketing, represented by the BGW Institute for Innovative Market Research in Düsseldorf, selected the TOP 100 Acousticians 2021/2022 from all competition participants.

To create a clear, critical yet fair comparison for the companies, the BGW Institute developed a comprehensive questionnaire through which applicants must demonstrate their performance capability and absolute customer orientation. Using this 17-page questionnaire, numerous business inspections, and extensive mystery shopping visits—during which applicants’ responses were thoroughly scrutinized—the business management and marketing-oriented team succeeded once again this year in identifying those hearing care professionals among the applicants who demonstrate particularly customer-oriented thinking and action. These 100 best hearing care professionals, evaluated according to these criteria, received the biennial award as TOP 100 Acousticians.

In addition to outstanding results in areas such as business inspection and anonymous mystery shopping, they are distinguished by exceptional customer orientation, service readiness, and personal attention and care.

Evaluations were conducted in the following categories, among others:

– Customer orientation
– Customer information
– Market orientation
– Business management
– Store design

Above-average performance had to be demonstrated in all areas to rank among the TOP 100 Acousticians among all applicants.

Jürgen Drews was very impressed by the customer orientation of the Top 100 Acousticians, for whom the frequently cited notion of “Germany as a service desert” certainly does not apply. He was particularly enthusiastic about the results from the mystery shoppers, who reported a very warm atmosphere in the visited and evaluated stores.
