In mid-February 2023, the popular German actor Dieter Hallervorden, as patron, honoured the winners of the TOP 100 Hearing Care Professionals 2023/2024 competition and, in a festive setting in Düsseldorf, presented the certificates to the beaming award winners.

This year, Roman Wagner Hörgeräte GmbH in Schweich was once again among this top group. Managing Directors Roman Wagner and Kai Glinke are rightly proud to have achieved this.

The independent jury from academia and marketing, represented by the BGW Institute for Innovative Market Research in Düsseldorf, selected the TOP 100 Hearing Care Professionals 2023/2024 from all competition participants.

To create a clear, critical, but also fair comparison for the companies, the BGW Institute developed an extensive questionnaire with which the respective applicants must demonstrate their performance and their absolute customer focus. Based on this 17-page questionnaire, numerous business inspections and extensive mystery shopping—during which the applicants’ answers were thoroughly scrutinised—the business and marketing-oriented team once again succeeded this year in identifying the hearing care professionals among the applicants who think and act in a particularly customer-focused manner. These 100 best hearing care professionals, rated according to these criteria, have now received the biennial award as TOP 100 Hearing Care Professionals.

In addition to outstanding results, e.g. in the business review and the anonymous mystery shopping, they stand out for exceptional customer focus, willingness to provide service, and a personal approach and attentiveness.

The assessments were carried out, among other things, in the following categories:

– Customer focus
– Customer information
– Market orientation
– Corporate management
– Store design

Above-average performance was required in all areas in order to be among the TOP 100 hearing care professionals among all applicants.

Dieter Hallervorden, who did not miss the opportunity to raise a toast with the competition winners to their success, was very impressed by the customer focus of the Top 100 hearing care professionals—for whom the oft-quoted notion of a “service desert in Germany” certainly does not apply.
